Double Coin has been selected as the tyre supplier to Landoll Corporation's Transportation Products Division. According to Jim Ladner, Landoll's Transportation Products Sales Manager, after Landoll began using Double Coin's 10R17.5 tyres "within a short period of time we knew the overall quality was better than what we had with our other suppliers".
Walt Weller, CMA Vice President, said in a company statement that they are very proud to be the standard tyre on the complete line of Landoll trailers and that "the demands placed on the tyres with this type of equipment are substantial, and we are gratified that Landoll and their customers recognise the quality and value that Double Coin tyres represent".
The confidence of Landoll customers in Double Coin was an instrumental part of Landoll's decision to use Double Coin for OE. "I've talked to many customers and they've reported improved performance and less down time from Double Coin tyres, so we wanted to carry that quality all the way to our customers" said Ladner.
Tyres4U is the Australian importer and distributor for Double Coin tyres. Landoll customers have been using Double Coin 255/70R22.5 tyres on their removable goose-neck trailers according to the CMA statement, and the 10R17.5 tyres have recently been replaced with 235/75R17.5 tyres for higher capacity. CMA said standard tyres for Landoll's trailer models include RT500s in a range of sizes, suited to varying applications. |

Ladner said that many Landoll customers "are hauling heavier loads over longer distances and Double Coin offers us a wide range of tyre sizes for different types of capacities. This will allow our customers more flexibility to match the right tyre with their application".
