Allan Moffat found the GT Radial tyres performed outstandingly & commented:

"I expected some other more widely promoted brands that I tested to have been better.

I rated GT Radial 5 out of 5 for turn-in. They had what I would call a self-energising feel, where the car comfortably steered itself through the corner and did not have to be pushed by me.

The balance between this and the rear grip was extremely good.

In my experience as a race and test driver, GT Radial tyres' performance surprised and impressed me.

I had not driven on them before the test, and I feel extremely confident in recommending them to anybody.

GT Radial is as good as many other more expensive brands and is easily the best in its price bracket." .
