Tyres4U’s Western Australia Golf Day was held at Joondalup Resort & Country Club on Friday 9th April. Joondalup Country Resort & Golf Club was 'Australia's No.1 Resort Golf Course' in 2003/04, 2005/06 and again in 2007/08

Tyres4U had the pleasure of welcoming 63 loyal customers and their guests from Western Australia and the Northern Territory.  We had 20 very ardent golfers playing in the 18 hole Stableford Championship competition and 43 who played in the 9 hole social Ambrose game.

The weather was spectacular with clear blue skies and the scenery very picturesque with lakes and steep limestone quarries.  The day was indeed very enjoyable and everyone had a fantastic time.

Shane Seward (Barminco Ltd) emerged the eligible winner of the 18 hole Stableford competition with 37 points to receive the WA State Golf Trophy and Wade Halden (Tyrepower Manjimup) was picked as the WA State lucky draw winner.  Both Shane and Wade will join other State winners along with their wives/partners, from Queensland Scott Brereton, Casino Tyre Professionals & Trevor Kelly, Roma Tyre Barn, from Victoria Clint Tisdale, Bay Road Tyre & Brake (Bridgestone Cheltenham) & Peter Del Monte, Crown Equipment and from New South Wales Steve Karavatakis from Qantas & Jim Hetherington from Metro Tyre Service.  All four State Winners and the four State lucky draw winners will now compete at the National Final to be held at Moonah Links, on the 1st and 2nd May 2010.

The Western Australia Golf Day now wraps up the Tyres4U State Golf Trophy Championship Series for 2010.  Just to recap Tyres4U State Golf days were held at:

           
The winner of the series played at the National Finals at Moonah Links will win the Trophy of Player of the Series and a prize of a voucher to the value of $1200 to redeem either for a Golf holiday organized by Golf Select or golf merchandise from Drummond Golf.
