The 2010 Tyres4U’s Queensland Golf day was held at North Lakes Resort Golf Club Brisbane on Wednesday 10th March 2010.  This was Tyres4U’s third Golf Day for the 2010 series, the first one was held at Sydney’s Premier Golf Club Bonnie Doon on Tuesday 23rd February, followed by the second at Settlers Run Golf & Country Club Melbourne on the 4th March 2010.

North Lakes Resort Golf Club  is rated in the top 25 public access courses from Golf Australia ( Feb 2004) and is a par-72 Championship Resort style Course.

 
Despite the stormy weather forecasts for the day 58 eager golfers joined Tyres4U staff and management and participated in a fantastic game of golf.  During the day we ran two golf games the 18 hole Stableford championship competition and the 9 hole Ambrose social golf game.  37 ardent golfers participated in the 18 hole Stableford while 21 played the Ambrose 9 hole social golf game.  The day was hot but extremely enjoyable.

Congratulations to the Winner of the Queensland State Series Scott Brereton from Casino Tyre Professionals and the lucky draw winner Trevor Kelly from Roma Tyre Barn.  Scott & Trevor along with their wife/partner will now join other state winners, from Victoria Clint Tisdale, Bay Road Tyre & Brake (Bridgestone Cheltenham) & Peter Del Monte,  Crown Equipment,  and from New South Wales Steve Karavatakis from Qantas & Jim Hetherington from Metro Tyre Service at the National Final to be held at Moonah Links, on the 1st and 2nd May 2010.
                                          
The winner and the lucky draw winner of the 18 hole Stableford championship competition of each state event along with their wife/partner will progress through to the National Final to  be held at Moonah Links, Mornington Peninsula on the 1st & 2nd May 2010
