A Speed Symbol (SI) is used to designate the speed rating of the tyre.

Date of manufacture
The last 3 digits of the DOT ID number indicate the week and year of manufacture.
For the years 1990 to 1999 a triangle is placed after these three digits.

7 = 1997
08 = 8th week of 1997
